- The 2010 Virginia Concrete Conference in Richmond, Virginia on March 4th and 5th is for the Virginia transportation industry. The conference provides an annual forum for the exchange of information and technology transfer with a focus on concrete pavements and structures, as well as concrete materials. The American Concrete Pavement Association, the American Concrete Institute, the Virginia Ready-Mixed Concrete Association, the Precast Concrete Association of Virginia, the Virginia Department of Transportation, and the Federal Highway Administration host this conference. Kaufman Products is a member of both the American Concrete Institute and the Precast Concrete Association of Virginia. - The 43nd Annual Mid-Atlantic Region Quality Assurance Workshop is being held in Washington, D. C. from February 8th-10th at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. This conference is dedicated to promoting new transportation technologies and implementing pro-active policies, practices, and procedures that ensure the real life of the transportation infrastructure equals or exceeds its design life at a minimum overall cost. The states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and the Commonwealth of Washington D.C. make up the Mid-Atlantic QAW. - The Pennsylvania Concrete Conference, hosted by the American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA), Federal Highway Administration (FHA), Pennsylvania Aggregates & Concrete Association (PACA), Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), Pennsylvania Precast Association (PPA), The Prestressed Concrete Association of Pennsylvania (PCAP), and the American Concrete Institute-Pittsburgh Chapter (ACI). The eleventh annual event will be held this year in Grantville, Pennsylvania from January 26th-27th at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg/Hershey. This will be the 11th annual conference, and it provides an annual forum for the exchange of information and technology transfer with a focus on concrete pavements and structures, as well as concrete materials. Both Alex Kaufman and Steve Long look forward to meeting with everyone at this years show.
